Scott 25 November 1868 - 30 July 1893 s/o Thomas & Ann Scott The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, August 6, 1893 pg. 4 LOCAL CONDENSATIONS Sunday, July 30, 1893 - Oscar Scott, col., who has been driving the delivery wagon for J.H. Porter for several years, died this evening at the home of his parents in northeast Denison. Oscar was a good man and all who knew him liked him. He was honest, polite and faithful and was ever prompt in business. Monday, July 31, 1893 - Oscar Scott, col., who died yesterday, was buried in Oakwood this evening. It was the largest colored funeral ever seen in Denison. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
