Bishop, 62, of Ladonia were held Monday afternoon in Sunnyside Baptist Church with the Rev. Vernon Price, pastor of Sunnyside Baptist church, and Dr. H.C. Henderson, pastor of Waples Memorial Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery with Bratcher-Moore in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Bishop was born in Belmont, Georgia March 12, 1890, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert D. Eden. She was married to James E. Bishop, Sr. in 1908 in Pecan Gap. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist church. Surviving are her husband; one son, James E. Bishop, Jr., Denison; two daughters, Mrs. Roberta Thornhill and Mrs. Lela D. Morrison, both of Denison; three brothers, Gordon Eden, Brownfield; Thomas Eden, Oklahoma City; John W. Eden, Dallas; three sisters; Mrs. Dora Smiley, Sweetwater; Mrs. Emma Huddleston, San Angelo; and Mrs. Sallie White of Mineral Wells; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
