 Denison  Section 9  Geneva Platt 19 June 1906 - 12 May 2012 George Platt, Sr. 5 September 1903 - 24 September 1991  The Herald Democrat May 17, 2012 Denison - Services for Mrs. Geneva Platt, 105-year-old former Denison resident, were held at Hopewell Baptist Church in Denison with Rev. C.E. Evans officiating. Mrs. Platt died Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Seven Acres Jewish Living Center in Houston. Burial followed at Oakwood Cemetery. Mrs. Platt is survived by her daughter, Lois Platt Johnson of Houston; three grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
