Denison Section 8 SONS OF R.S. & M.F. HARNEST
The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, June 3, 1888 pg 4 Willie Harnest Dead The GAZETTEER announces with deep regret the death of Willie, the 10-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Harnest, which took place at 11 o'clock a.m. last Thursday. The bright little fellow was taken sick Friday week, and for a time he was thought by his physician to have malarial fever. The glands of his throat began to swell in the early part of the week and a species of tonsolitis set in. He was not thought to be in a dangerous condition however, even within a few hours of his demise, and his taking off tell like a stunning blow upon the affectionate parents. Little Willie was an exceedingly intelligent and bright witted little fellow, and was loved by all who knew him. His death is a very severe affliction to his bereaved parents, to whom the GAZETTEER extends the sincere sympathy of this community. The funeral took place from the Baptist Church Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock; interment at Oakwood. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
