Saturday at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Bratcher Funeral Home. The Rev. Sam Allenbaugh will officiate. Mullinex was born April 16, 1898, at Oakland Okla., son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mullinix. He married Vera Armstrong Feb. 15, 1920, at Oakland. He was retired from the Corps of Engineers. Survivors include two daughters, Virginia Phillips of Denison and Joyce Rush of Waskon; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 tonight. Mullinix of Denison, 88-year-old retired employee of the Corp of Engineers who died Thursday in Texoma Medical Center, will be held at 10 a. m. Saturday in Oakwood Cemetery. Rev. Mr. Mullinix was born in Oakland, Okla., the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mullinix, and married Vera Armstrong Feb. 15, 1920, in Oakland, Okla. Surviving are two daughters, Virginia Phillips of Denison, Joyce Rush of Waskom; brother, Walter Armstrong of Denison; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The family will be at #1624 Woodcreek Apts., 1400 N. Highway 75. Sherman Democrat May 23, 1989 Denison--Graveside services for Mrs. Vera Mullinix will be held at 9:30 a. m. Wednesday in Oakwood Cemetery. Mrs. Mullinix, 87, died Monday at a nursing home here. The Rev. Sam Allenbaugh will officiate and Bratcher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Mullinix was born in Fayetteville, Ark., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Armstrong and Married Jim Mullinix on Nov. 21, 1921 at Oakland, Okla. She was a Baptist. Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Virginia Phillips of Denison and Mrs. Joyce Rush of Waskom; brother, Walter Armstrong of Denison; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
