The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, February 17, 1895 pg. 4 J.M.W. Chappel died Tuesday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Penn, No. 211 East Day street. Mr. Chappel had been quite ill for some time with bright's disease. The remains were interred Thursday evening in Oakwood. Mr. R.C. Pender of the Baptist church conducted the funeral services. Chappel died Monday evening at 6 o'clock at the home of her son, Henry Chappel, five miles north of the city, aged sixty-five years. Death was the result of a fall last Tuesday. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
