 Denison  Section 8  Elvira Hagood 1878 - 1963 Eugene Louis Hagood 1865 - 1958 Denison Press Wednesday, December 24, 1958 Deaths Eugene L. Hagood, 93, of 1403 S. French, died at his home Sunday, December 21 at 12:30 p.m. after three years of illness. Funeral services were held in Johnson-Moore Chapel Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Luther Grossman, officiating. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery. Hagood was born April 18, 1865. His parents died when he was a small boy and he lived with a sister until he was 13 after which he was on his own. He was married in Denison Feb. 20, 1895 to Elvira Jackson of Lincoln County, Kentucky, and they lived in Galveston. He was a carpenter. Survivors are two sons, Tony L. Hagood and E.R.
