Denison Section 8 Annie Griffith 16 March 1880 - 10 April 1943 "No partings in Heaven" The Denison Press Friday, April 16, 1943 pg. 8 Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the First Christian Church for Mrs. Anna Griffith, 63, the pastor Rev. Ben F. Hearn, officiating. Interment was at Oakwood with Short-Murray directing. Mrs. Griffith died at her home 614 E. Woodard Saturday morning. She had been ill for six months. Born March 16, 1880 in Tennessee, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. McCormick. She was a member of the Christian church. Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Fannie Mae Buckley and Mrs. L.P. Burns, San Antonio, and Mrs. W.J. Hawkins of this city. Brothers are Eligie McCormick, John McCormick, Harrison McCormick and Generce McCormick, all of Anna, Texas. A sister, Mrs. Savannah Rooker lives at Van Alstyne, Texas. Three grandchildren also survive. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
