Monday, April 6, 1942 pg. 1 Following an illness since December 25, 1941, Dixie Williams, Sr., 52, died Sunday night at 9 o'clock at a Dallas hospital. He had resided at 130 W. Sears since 1917. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Charles C. Foster, president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood cemetery, Short-Murray directing. Mr. Williams was born on December 15, 1889 at Bonham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Williams and received his education at Kemp and Durant. He was married t o Miss Minnie Lightfoot a t Kemp on June 24, 1911. He was employed as boiler maker, and was a member o f the Church of Christ and Eagles lodge. Surviving are 3 sons, Dixie Williams, Jr., Denison; Temmie Williams, Denison; and Fred Williams of Paris; 3 daughters, Mrs. Bill Coonrod, Miss Jackie Lee Williams and Miss Johnnie Ann Williams, all of Denison; a brother, F.M. William of Denison; a sister, Mrs. Kittie Hunnicut, Lake Worth, Florida; and a nephew, P.P. Williams of Oklahoma City. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
