Denison Section 8 E.J. Parks 24 November 1837 - 6 August 1890 Aged 52 Yrs. 8 Ms. 12 ds The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, August 10, 1890 pg. 1 "Dred" Parks Dead E.J. Parks, who had been suffering for several months with a cancer in his mouth, died at his home on Armstrong avenue Wednesday morning at 5 o'clock. The deceased was an old-time resident of Denison, was a painter and paper hanger by trade and was well thought of by a large circle in this community. The funeral, which was very largely attended, took place from the Christian Church Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock, interment being at Oakwood Cemetery. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
