The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, August 22, 1897 pg. 5 Local Condensations Wednesday, August 19, 1897 - E. Pierce, residing at 320 West Hull street, died last night of heart failure, aged 45 years. Pierce was employed as a painter at the carriage shop of Tignor & Mosse. He leaves a wife and four children. The funeral will take place this afternoon from the family residence, interment in Oakwood Cemetery.  OAKWOOD CEMETERY
