The Denison Press Friday, November 27, 1942 pg. 6 DEATH ROLL Following an illness that extended over a period of several years, Mrs. Arthur A. Stinson, 63, residing at 813 S. Travis, died Wednesday at her home. Funeral services were conducted Friday at 2 p.m. from the Short-Murray chapel with Rev. G.C. Minor officiating. Interment was at Oakwood with Short-Murray directing. Born in Jerome, Indiana, January 16, 1867, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Brown. Surviving are her husband; a son, Floyd of Jacksonville, Florida; and a daughter, Mrs. Jim Crane, Tampa, Florida; and a sister, Mrs. Hazzel Brown, Los Angeles, besides other relatives. Maud Stinson 1883 - 1903 Will H. Sstinson 1880 - 1947 Sunday, June 8, 1947 W.H. STINSON DIES, RITES HERE MONDAY William H. Stinson, 61, former resident of Denison, died suddenly of a heart attack at 5 p.m. Friday in Pittsburg, Kansas, whre he had been foreman of the Frisco roundhouse for the past 5 months. An employe of the Frisco Railroad since 1926, Mr. Stinson was transferred to Pittsburg from Tulsa, Oklahoma early this year. Son of Mr. Dora Stinson of Denison, Mr. Stinson was born in Clarksville, April 16, 1886. He was a member of the Methodist church, the Masonic Lodge, Knights Templar, and the Machinists Association. In addition to his mother, Mr. Stinson is survived by 2 brothers, Arthur Stinson of Denison and Roy Stinson of Ft. Worth; and one sister, Mrs. Dora Brigham of Denison. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Bratcher-Moore Chapel. The body arrived Sunday morning. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
