The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, April 13, 1902 pg.3 CONDENSED HOME NEWS Tuesday, April 8 - Mrs. C.H. McClung, wife of Conductor McClung, died Sunday after a brief illness. The death of the most estimable young wife has cast a gloom over the community. At the time of her death she was only 26 years of age. The funeral and services at the grave in Oakwood were under the auspices of the local lodge of the Ladies' Auxiliary to the O.R.C., of which she was a member and an officer. A large representation from the O.R.C. was also present. The floral offerings were very beautiful, the Auxiliary presented a floral pillow and the O.R.C. an emblem wrought in red, green and white. Many other fine pieces were sent by friends. Carl McClurg 22 October 1896 - 8 January 1897 s/o C.H. & Minnie McClurg OAKWOOD CEMETERY
