 Denison  Section 7  Mary Jane Edwards 30 October 1840 - 7 December 1932  James Alford Edwards 12 February 1866 - 22 January 1953 Gainesville Daily Register Gainesville, Texas Thursday, December 29, 1932 Mrs. Mary J. Edwards, 82 years old, a resident of Denison twenty-five years, died Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at her home, 720 East Crawford street. Mrs. Edwards was born at Bowling Green, Ky., October 30, 1840, where she resided for many years before coming to Denison. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving are one son, J. A. Edwards, Denison; a daughter, Mrs. J. A. Stephens, Denison; a brother, J. P. Robinson, Kentucky, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock with Rev. J. F. Murrell, First Baptist, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery, with George Shields, funeral director in charge.  OAKWOOD CEMETERY
