Lively 1867 - 1936 The Denison Press Monday, August 17, 1936 pg. 1 ENOCH LIVELY, FORMER KATY EMPLOYEE, DIES Following an illness that had lasted for seven months, Enoch Uriah Lively died Sunday morning at 7:35 at his home, 1327 W. Day street. He had resided at that point for the past sixty-one years, locating there shortly after Denison was laid out. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday from Short-Murray chapel, followed by interment in Oakwood. Mr. Lively was born October 5, 1866 [sic] his parents being Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Lively. He was married November 28, 1888 to Miss Laura Filiere of this city and six children were born to the union. Mr. Lively was a member of the Catholic church and of the Maccabees. For several years connected with the Katy as a bridge man, leaving that department in 1914 to be connected with the car repair department from which service he retired in 1922. Surviving are four sons, Louis and Charles of Hammond, Indiana, and George and Frank of Denison. Daughters are Mrs. I.H. Miller, Brownfield, Texas, and Mrs. H.B. Dunn, Corsicana. Two sisters also survive, Mrs. Mary Bolt, Branson, Texas, and Mrs. Lillian Bass, Galveston. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
