M.V. Wilkerson, aged 46 years, died Tuesday evening at his home, No. 607 South Lamar avenue. Deceased had been ill from heart trouble several weeks, but was seriouly only a few days before his death. The funeral took place Friday afternoon on the arrival of relatives from Kansas. Service were conducted by Live Oak Camp No. 11, W.O.W., of which decedent was a member.
Mr. Wilkerson was born in Kansas but has lived in Denison a number of years, having lately been employed as a collector for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. He was married several years ago to Miss Nora Hickson, who with one child, a daughter eight years old, survives him. He also leaves his mother, who lives at Adair, I.T. and two sisters, Mrs. Celestia Glover of Adair, I.T. and Mrs. L. Belch of Galona, Kansas.
