Brinkley 8 July 1899 - 5 May 2000 wed 22 December 1915 Helen Brinkley 28 June 1925 - 15 September 1941 The Denison Press Monday, September 15, 1941 pg. 1 DEATH ROLL Following an illness of two weeks, one of which was spent in a local hospital, Miss Helen Louise Brinkley, 16-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Brinkely, 317 W. Acheson, died at the hospital this morning at 1:05. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from Short Murray chapel, Rev. L.R. Lamb officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Short-Murray directing. Miss Brinkley was born June 28, 1925 at Sherman, coming with her parents while still a small child to the Shannon community, south of Denison. She attended Peabody here during the latter term of 1941 and was employed by the Denison Poultry and Egg Company. She was a member of the Dripping Springs Baptist church. Surviving are her parents; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Guaver and Mrs. Lula Brinkley; a nephew, Robert Daniel Jones; two brothers, Harold Lloyd Brinkley and Clyde Sherman Brinkley, and one sister, Mrs. John Hood, all of Denison. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
