The Denison Press Friday, February 3, 1956 pg. 5 DEATHS Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Mathes Seay, native of Oak Ridge community northeast of Denison, who had lived in New York for the past twenty years, were held at Bracher-Moore chapel Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock with the Rev. Twitty, pastor of the Sherman Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery. Mrs. Seay died in New York City January 29 after several months of illness. She had made her home with her son, Edward Seay for the last twenty years. She was born here, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Mathes, a pioneer family of Denison. She was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church. Survivors are her son, Edward of New York City, son of the late Dr. E.L. Seay, Denison physician who died in 1930; a sister, Mrs. J.M. Foust, Denison; three nieces and a nephew. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
