Crabtree 15 May 1876 - 13 September 1944 The Denison Press Friday, September 15, 1944 pg. 5 DEATHS Following an illness of eight years, Franklin Edward Crabtree, 330 E. Day street, died at his home Tuesday morning. Funeral services were conducted at Short-Murray Chapel with Rev. Boyd Jones officiating, interment being at Oakwood. Born May 15, 1877 [sic] in Illinois, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. F.B. Crabtree. He was educated in the schools of Denison, and was married Feb. 19, 1924, to Miss Dora Mason. He was a retired painter and paper hanger and a member of the Assembly of God church. Surviving are his widow; four daughters, Mrs. G.R. Beall, Mrs. J.U. Manery, Mrs. E.M. Goode, all of Denison, and Mrs. S.R. Johnson, Littlefield, Tex. Also surviving are two brothers, E.N. Crabtree, Denison, and C.A. Crabtree, California, and seven grandchildren. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
