Harrod, 78, were conducted Friday, August 24. Death came at 12:40 a.m. Thursday, following an illness of two years. In charge of the funeral was Bratcher, with services conducted by Rev. Earnest Potter at the Bratcher chapel, with interment at Oakwood. Deceased had made her home for 45 years at 423 East Munson. Born at Texarkana October 16, 1880 as the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.T. McCarrol, she was married at Fort Smith, Arkansas, September 24, 1897 to M.H. Harrod. She made her home before coming to Denison at Checotah, Oklahoma. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Albert Harrod, Denison; four daughters, Mrs. B.C. Work, Tulsa; Mrs. C.N. Tudor, Tallequah, Oklahoma; Mrs. Roy Cook, Bay City, Texas; and Mrs. C.F. Heath, Denison.
