Ernest Bruno Kollert Dead
E.B. Kollert, who had been at the Sedalia hospital for several months, died with cancer Monday night.  The deceased had been a resident of Denison for many years and was at one time a conductor on the Choctaw division of the Katy.  In an accident he lost his left arm.  At the time of death, he was nearly 53 years of age.
The remains were brought to this city for interment.  The funeral took place Monday under the auspices of the I.O.R.M. and Society Vorawerts.  The interment was at Oakwood Cemetery.
The deceased leaves a wife and several children.

Mrs. Augusta W. Kollert
Funeral services for Mrs. Augusta Werner Kollert who died last Sunday, were conducted Tuesday afternoon from the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. James E. Spivey, pastor, officiatiing.  Interment was at Oakwood with Short-Murray officiating.
Pallbearers were L.S. Lacey, M.G. Roach, Richard Frank, Adolph Johnson, Ralph Geisenhoner and W. T. Wingo.
Services at the cemetery were in charge of the Easter Star.

MRS. AUGUSTA KOLLERT
Following an illness of two days, Mrs. Augusta Werner Kollert, 77, an early resident of Denison, died at her home Sunday morning at 314 1/2 South Chandler avenue.  Funeral services were conducted Tuesday from the Presbyterian church, with the pastor, Rev. James E.Spivey, officiating.  Interment was at Oakwood with Short-Murray directing.  A stroke is given as the direct cause of her death.
Born Feb 15, 1865, at Bucholz, Germany, as the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Karl A. Werner, she was married Aug. 12, 1886, at Leipzig, Germany.  She came from a military family and spoke nine different languages.  Her husband with his wife came to Denison Dec. 3, 1886, he accepting employment with the Katy as a conductor for many years.  He died Nov. 9, 1908.
Mrs. Kollert was a member of the Presbyterian church, the White Shrine, Order of Eastern Star, Furstin Bismark lodge, Sons of Herman lodge, Auxilliary to the American Legion, Pythian Sisters and Woodmen Circle.  The Eastern Star will have charge at the grave.
Surviving are four sons, Osar, John, Charles and Hugh, all of Denison; a daughter, Mrs. C.B. Murphy, also lives in Denison.
