 Denison  Section 4   Clayton E. Preston 10 October 1890 - 19 December 1977 Private US Army WWI Sherman Democrat Monday, December 19, 1977 Denison--Graveside services for Clayton E. Preston 97-year-old retired car repair man of the MKT Railroad who died Sunday at a Denison hospital, will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday at the Oakwood Cemetery, conducted by the Rev. Bob Cantrell under the direction of the Bratcher Funeral Home. Mr. Preston was born in New Boston, Bowie County, Texas, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Preston. He married Ona Lee on May 12, 1924 in Denison. Surviving are his wife; sons J. C. Preston of Denison and Marvin J. Preston of Tampa; daughter, Mrs. Clifton Shearer of Denison; brother, M. F. Alford of Achille, Oklalahoma; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  OAKWOOD CEMETERY
