The funeral took place Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock at the residence of a family on Morton street and was largely attended by the friends of the family and the members of the Order of Good Templars, of which order deceased was a worthy member. The funeral sermon at the residence was preached by Rev. Mr. Kone, of the Baptist Church, after which the coffin was placed in the hearse by the pall bearers - members of the order of Good Templars - and the funeral procession wended its way to the cemetery, where after a short address by Rev.
