MRS. G. ANSLEY DEAD
Mother of Sid Ansley of Sherman Passes Away Today

This afternoon about one o'clock Mrs. G. Ansley died at the Sherman Hospital of pneumonia, age 89 years.
Mrs. Ansley was brought to Sherman from her farm near Denison for treatment several weeks ago, having fallen and broken one of her hips.  She had recovered but pneumonia developed several days ago.
The deceased came with her husband and children to Texas 66 years ago and had lived in Grayson county 44 years.
The husband died many years ago.  The surviving children are Sid Ansley of Sherman; W.T. Ansley of El Paso; R.R. Ansley who lived with his mother; and Mrs. Elizabeth Prator of Stoneburg, Texas.
The funeral service will take place tomorrow forenoon at the home of Sid Ansley, No. 1212 S. Travis street and the interment will be made in Denison.

Robert Ansley, 79 years old, who resided in and near Denison sixty-three years, died Monday morning at 6:45 o'clock at his home on Route 4, two miles west of Denison. Death followed a lengthy illness from Rheumatism.
Mr. Ansley was born in Upton County, Georgia, Aug. 8, 1854, and came to Denison with his parents in 1870. For a number of years he was identified with the photograph business here and was associated with his brother, C. D. Ansley, now deceased, in an establishment that stood on ground now occupied by the Y.M.C.A. building [531 West Main Street].
The deceased had been making his home with his brother, W. T. Ansley, during the last several years. His only other immediate relative is a sister, Mrs. J. T. Prater of Bowie.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at George Shields' funeral home with Rev. Homer T. Fort, pastor of the Waples Memorial Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

DENISON—Robert R. Ansley, 79, died at 6 a.m. Monday at his farm west of Denison on the new Pottsboro road, where he had lived with his brother, W. T. Ansley, since 1870.
Mr. Ansley at one time operated a photographic gallery in Denison with another brother, C. D. Ansley, who died several years ago. In addition to the surviving brother, there is a sister, Mrs. J. C. Prater of Bowie.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday from the George Shields funeral chapel conducted by the Rev. Homer T. Fort, pastor of Waples Memorial Methodist church. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.
Mr. Ansley was a member of the Methodist church and of the Knights of Pythias.

DENISON—Funeral service for R. R. Ansley, aged farmer who died at his home west of Denison early Monday, will be held from Shield's chapel at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The Knights of Pythias will have charge of services at the grave at Oakwood cemetery. The funeral was to be held Tuesday, but on account of heavy rain that fell throughout the day, was postponed until Wednesday.
