 Denison  Section 3  Darby Dwight Upton 20 January 1879 - 20 April 1900 The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, April 29, 1900 pg. 3 LOCAL CONDENSATIONS Monday, April 23 Darby Upton, a young man who has resided in this city for a number of years, died quite suddenly of heart disease Saturday morning at his home, No. 112 South Armstrong avenue. A few hours before death Upton was in the best of health and spirits and assisted at an entertainment given at the Maccabee hall. The deceased had been subject to heart complaint for a number of years. At the time of death he was 21 years of age. He was the only child of Mrs. Mary Williams, a widow lady. The funeral took place Sunday afternoon and in spite of the bad weather there was a very large turnout of sympathizing friends. The interment was at the Oakwood cemetery.  OAKWOOD CEMETERY
