Denison Section 3 Denny Stogsdill 1864 - 1932 Sarah Stogsdill 1867 - 1951 The Denison Press Friday, May 18, 1951 pg. 2 DEATHS Funeral services were held Monday at 4 o'clock at Bratcher-Moore chapel for Mrs. Sarah J. Stogsdill, 83, who died at her home, 1046 W. Collins, Sunday morning after a two weeks illness. Rev. Milton Kresse officiate and burial was in Oakwood cemetery with Bratcher-Moore, directors, in charge. Mrs. Stogsdill was born in MIssouri, August 28, 1867, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Minor C. Rushing. She was married in Missouri, October 21, 1884 to D. Stogsdill. They lived in Bells before moving to Denison. She was a member of Sunnyside Baptist church. Survivors are one son, A.E. Stogsdill, Denison; four daughters, Mrs. L.A. Coffin, with whom she made her home; Mrs. Myrtle J. Drewery and Mrs. Emma Gregg, all of Denison; and Mrs. Lelia Bradley, Detroit, Michigan; four brothers, L.J. Rushing, Mansfield, Missouri; H.T. Rushing, Oklahoma City; G.W. Rushing, Diggins, Missouri; and Abe Rushing, Oletha, Kansas; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
