Denison Section 3 Emma Shaw 16 May 1868 - 19 September 1884 w/o A.J. Shaw The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, September 21, 1884 pg. 4 Died - At 4:30 o'clock Friday morning Mrs. Emma Shaw, wife of A.J. Shaw and daughter of F.T. Tobin, aged 27 years. The deceased had been sick for several weeks with malarial fever. She left two small children in charge of her grief-stricken husband. Her last words were: " My God, must I go, and leave my poor children!" Mr. Shaw is an engineer on the H. & T.C. railway and has the reputation of being prompt and punctual in the discharge of his duty. The remains of Mrs. Shaw were interred at the old cemetery, many friends attending the funeral, together with a procession of the Brotherhood of Locmotive Engineers. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
