Denison Section 3 Mahlon C. Husted 1852 - 1915 The Denison Herald Monday, November 26, 1921 DEATH ROLL The body of Frank M. Husted, formerly of this city, arrived here from Fort Worth today for burial. Funeral services were held at Shield's chapel this afternoon and burial was in Oakwood cemetery. Rev. C. W. Hearon, pastor of the Waples Methodist church, officiated. Mr. Husted was well known in this city having lived here for the greater part of his life. For many years he was clerk at the Palace hotel and had the reputation of being the jolliest man in North Texas. For the past few years he has been employed as a hotel clerk in Fort Worth. He was the son of Mrs. Husted and the late M. C. Husted of this city. Mrs. Husted and relatives and friends accompanied the body here and attended the services. Many beautiful floral decorations were placed on the grave. The Denison Herald Wednesday, November 30, 1921 pg.9 The f uneral and burial of Frank C. Husted [sic] took place in Oakwood cemetery at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. Rev. C.W. Hearon officiated. The pallbearers were Barney Finn, C,A, Robinson, Fleece Scott, J.W.
