Denison Section 2 Charles T. Scott 24 July 1857 - 27 July 1887 The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, January 30, 1887 DIED Charley Scott, late Missouri Pacific entineer on the Ft. Worth division, died Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock, of consumption. Mr. Scott had been for some years an employe of the Missouri Pacific system and was well known and liked by the entire railroad fraternity, as well as by all who knew him. He has been an invalid for nearly a year without any hope of ultimate recovery. He was a membere of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Entineers, under whose auspices he was buried at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon. The funeral services were preached by Rev. T.E. Sherwood at the South M.E. church, the remains being interred in Oakwood cemetery. In addition to the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers there were a large number of other friends present, and a long line of carriages followed Charley Scott to his last resing place. Ft.
