 Denison  Section 2  Jessie Estell Mitchell 1860 - 1894 The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, June 9, 1895 pg. 4 MORTUARY Mrs. Jesse Mitchell died at her home, 204 W. Morgan street, Tuesday morning at 6 o'clock, after an illness of one week. The lady had been in poor health for some months, but nothing serious was thought of. On Sunday she spoke of going to work in the laundry the next day, but death claimed her. Tuesday morning she got up a nd spoke to one of her daughters, and an hour later when her youngest daughter, Katie, spoke to her, she was dead. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock; interment in Oakwood Cemetery. Mrs. Mitchell was 35 years old. [sic] She leaves 3 children orphans, 2 girls and one boy, her husband havin died some years ago.  OAKWOOD CEMETERY
