Monday, September 16, 1940 pg. 1 Mrs. Jennie H. Clark, 70, former Denisonian but a resident of Dallas the past 9 years, died at 6 a.m. Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Irene Lent, Dallas, following an illness of one year. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon from Short-Murray chapel, Rev. J.F. Murrell officiating. Interment was at the Oakwood cemetery, Short-Murray directing. Deceased was born December 20, 1870 as daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Cox at Denison and was reared and educated here. She was married to T.J. Clark here. She left in 1931 for Dallas to make her home, and was a member of the Baptist church, the WBA and the Phythian Sisters. Surviving are her husband; 2 sons, H.R. of Dallas and J.L. of Houston; 2 daughters, Mrs. Lent and Mrs. Norine Bennett, both of Dallas; and 4 grandchildren. Charles T.
