The Denison Press Friday, July 9, 1943 pg. 1 WOMAN DIES IN ACCIDENT WITH BICYCLE-TRUCK Within a few minutes after her bicycle and a truck collided Tuesday afternoon south of the city limits, Miss Wanda Weightman died before aid could be given her. She lived at 947 Coffin street and was riding on the highway when she collided with a truck driven by Herschell E. Flowers. Miss Weightman was riding in the same direction as the truck and on the left lane facing traffic and in making what is believed an effort to cross the highway, she passed into the path of the truck. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Pal Noe Funeral Home with Rev. Boyd Jones officiating. Interment was in Oakwood cemetery. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Born June 17, 1924, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy W. Weightman. She was employed at the Snow-White laundry. Surving are her parents; five brothers, Norman, Charles, Lonell, Jack and Alton, all of Denison. A sister, Miss Pauline also survives along with other relatives. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
