The Denison Press Friday, April 25, 1952 pg. 2 DEATHS Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Bratcher-Moore chapel for W.E. Shearin, 46, a native of Denison, who died in a Dallas hospital Thursday after a five months' illness. The Rev. H.F. Crews, of the Church of the Nazarene, officiated and burial was in Oakwood Cemeetery. Shearin was born September 17, 1905, the son of Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Shearin. He was educated in Denison and was a general contractor in Dallas at the time of his death. Survivors include three daughters: Mrs. Nora Lee Gossett, Mrs. Betty Balcome and Mrs. J.R. Bonner, all of San Antonio; four brothers: John, Michael and Earl of Dallas and Roy of Denison; five sisters, Mrs. Nora Williams, Mrs. H.P. Jackson and Mrs. A.J. Shipley, all of Denison; and Mrs. S.E. Weaver and Mrs. Margaret Lane, both of Dallas; and three grandchildren. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
