Denison Harry Casper 13 August 1879 - 20 December 1887 s/o H. & J. Casper The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, December 25, 1887 pg. 4 OBITUARY "As the bird to its sheltering nest, When the storm on the hills is abroad; So his spirit hath flown from this world of unrest, To repose on the bosom of God." Died, Tuesday, December 20th, at 9:25 a.m., Harry, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Casper, age 8 years and 3 months. The little lad was a bright and amiable boy, beloved and esteemed by all his fellows. The idol of his parents, he made fine use of the advantages given him, and the future lay smiling before him. Too pure for earth, his gentle spirit has winged its flight to that blissful realm, where garlands of celestial flowers bloom unwithered and the silver star never loses its pencilled ray. "He is not dead, the child of our affection, But gone unto that school Where he no longer needs our poor protection, And Christ, Himself, doth rule." OAKWOOD CEMETERY
