MRS. REBECCA BENEDICT DIES, BURIAL TUESDAY
Mrs. Rebecca Benedict, 84, died Sunday at Terrell where she moved from Denison 10 years ago.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in Bratcher-Moore chapel with Rev. W.O. Bucy, Trinity Methodist pastor, officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Benedict was born in Tarrant County December 3, 1870 and was married to W.M. Benedict. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include seven sons, Frank, Paul, Ensign and Horace Benedict, all of Denison; Arthur and W.M. Benedict, both of Dallas; and Albert Benedict of Terrell; two daughters. Mrs. W.E. Austin and Mrs. Monroe Notgrass, both of Denison; two sisters, Mrs. Joe Gillespie of Denison and Mrs. Dora Rollman of Denver, Colorado; 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
