HAMMONTREE DIES AT HOSPITAL IN FORT WORTH SATURDAY Thomas Franklin Hammontree, 54, following an illness of two weeks, died at a Fort Worth hospital Saturday evening at 7:50. He had made his home at Fort Worth for the past eight years and was engaged in the occupation of a salesman. He was a member of the Presbyterian church and Rev. S.L. Terry, pastor of the local First Presbyterian Church, officiated at the funeral service which was held at the Short-Murray chapel Sunday afternoon. Short-Murray directing. Mr. Hammontree left Denison in 1928, having been connected here as a salesman. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. G.L. Wooten, Fort Worth, and Mrs. O.B. Stout, Kansas City. Pall bearers were L.A. Coffin, G.A. Coffin, G.F. Dreuery, J.F. Clay, Sam Cox and W.I. Boatright. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
