CHARLES HASKINS FOUND DEAD FROM HEART ATTACK
Failing health for the past year resulted in the death of Charles Haskins, 74, who had resided on Route 2 for the past thirty years where he operated a farm up until twelve years ago.
Funeral services will be conducted at Oakwood cemetery at 2 p.m. Wedneday.  Short-Murray will direct.
Mr. Haskins was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, coming to Texas from Joplin, to which point he moved after leaving his birthplace.  He was reared and educated in the Arkansas city, where he was also married.
After moving to Denison, his wife died in 1927.  For several years he had made his home with a cousin, Joe Grigsby.
His death was credited to a heart attack by Judge E.A. Wright who held an inquest.  The body was found face down by Mrs. Grigsby about 4 a.m. Tuesday.
Surviving are three sons, Joe and Sam of Denison and Chester of Mill Creek, Oklahoma.  Daughters are Mrs. Hattie McGurk, Post, Texas; and Mrs. Tinnie Wooten of Sherman.
