Jones 1878 - 1955 The Denison Press Friday, February 13, 1959 pg. 4 DEATHS Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa Bell Jones, 75, were held at Southside Baptist Church Monday, Feb. 9, at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Wayne Imboden, pastor, officiated and interment was in Oakwood Cemetery with Johnson-Moore Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Moore [sic] died in Madonna Hospital, Feb. 8 at 1:22 a.m. from burns suffered at her home, 2798 Flora Lane Saturday morning. Mrs. Jones had wrapped herself in a blanket which became ignited at a stove. She was born in Canadian in the Indian Territory Jan. 7, 1884, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Burnett. She attended school in Eufaula, Okla., and was married in Gainesville, Texas, Jan. 29, 1903 to E.B. Jones, a railroad employe, who died in 1955. They lived in Avinger, Texas before coming to Denison 42 years ago. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Survivors are seven sons: Joe F. Jones, Ft. Worth; F.A. of Colbert; N.A., Jesse, Ernest, Johnny and Fred of Denison; a daughter, Mrs. Eddie Eldridge, Canadian, Okla.; three brothers, John Burnett, Bells; Joe of Perry, Okla.; and W.L.
