T.E. Petty 27 July 1875 - 25 February 1905 Thomas
E. Petty, aged 29 years, died last Saturday morning at his home about
two miles south of the city, from which place the funeral was held
Sunday afternoon. Mr. Petty was a member of the Carpenters' Union, Woodmen of the World and Odd Fellows, those orders attending the funeral in a body. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. ATTENTION ODD FELLOWS You are hereby notified to assemble at I.O.O.F. hall at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, February 26, to attend the funeral of Bro. T.E. Petty, to be held...home, north of cotton mill.
