 Denison  Section 10 "Martha Jane Beatty Daugherty, mother of Mr. Sherwood Walton and Mrs. G.A.
Thomas, both of this city, died at her home, Mount Springs, Texas, Sunday,
April 1. She was 71 years of age and had been in poor health for some time,
suffering from paralisis, which caused her death. The remains were brought
here Monday afternoon. Mrs. Daughtery leaves four children, two sons and two daughters, besides a number of grandchildren and five great grand children. The funeral was held at the home of Mrs. Thomas, 807 W. Bond St., Monday at 4:30 p.m., Rev. Kincaid of the Baptist Church officiating; interment in Oakwood in Denison, Texas."  OAKWOOD CEMETERY
