Linden The Denison Press Friday, May 4, 1951 pg.3 Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Batcher-Moore chapel for Mrs. Fannie Louella Linden, pioneer Denisonian, who died at her home, 825 W. Crawford, Friday afternoon after a month's illness. Mrs. Linden was 91 and had lived in Denison 79 years. The Rev. Richard Crews, pastor of First Christian Church, officiated and interment was in Oakwood Cemetery. Mrs. Linden was born in Smith County, Texas, January 24, 1859, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Brewer. She was married to the late William H. Linden, a railroad man, in 1875. She was a charter member of the First Christian Church. Mrs. Linden was one of Denison's oldest citizens. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Nora Carpenter, Miss Willie Linden and Miss Gertie Linden, and a son, Albert Linden, all of Denison; three grandson, Louis Linden Carpenter, Planefield, New Jersey; James L. Carpenter and Bill Linden of Denison. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
