Mrs.
A. G. Gilbert, 89, 310 West Gandy, died Sunday at 2:15 p.m. in a local
hospital following a two day illness. Funeral will be Tuesday at 3 p.m.
at Bratcher Chapel with Rev. J. T. Sharp officiating. Internment will
be in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from
7:30 until 8:30 p.m. Monday. She was born Sept. 25, 1979 in Harrison, Ark., and was married to A. G. Guibert July 9, 1909 at Stillwater, Payne County, Okla. she was a member of the Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, A. G. gilbert of Denison; one daughter, Mrs. A. V. Dinwiddie of Guthrie, Okla.; one grandaughter, Mrs. Patricia Eme of California and seven great-grandchildren, George Gilbert, Richard Green, Roberta Eme, Toni Eme, Timothy and Sean Snedeker, Bridget Rodrigues. Arthur G. Gilbert, 89, 310 West Gandy, died at a local hospital Monday at 1:20 p.m. following an illness of several years. He was hospitalized one week. Funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Bratcher Chapel with Rev. J. T. Sharp officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Gilbert was a retired farmer, owner of an apartment huse here and at one time was a depuity sheriff in Bryan County. He married Josephine Catherine Ritchie, July 9, 1909 in Stillwater, Payne Co., Okla. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include one step-daughter, Mrs. A. V. Dinwiddie of Guthrie, Okla.; one grandaughter, Mrs. Patricia Eme of California and seven great-grandchildren, George Gilbert, Richard Green, Roberta Eme, Toni Eme, Timothy and Sean Snedeker, Bridget Rodrigues.
