Loving died in Denison yesterday. Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, August 12, 1900 pg. 3 A SAD DEATH The Gazetteer regrets to chronicle the death of Mrs. H.M. Thompson, which occurred last Sunday at the home of her father, Polk Loving, east of the city six miles. Mrs. Thompson had been sick for some time with a consuming fever, but her condition was not considered serious until within the past fortnight. Mrs. Thompson resided at the Howard place at the race track, but owing to the absence of her husband and to receive better attention she was removed to the home of her father. Mr. Thompson arrived from California a few hours before his wife passed away. Mrs. Thompson by her lovely traits of character had attached to her a large circle of friends and her umtimely death has caused profound sorrow. The remains were brought to the home of her aunt, Mrs. T.A. Darby, on Hull street for interment. The funeral took place Tuesday and was largely attended. The interment was at Oakwood Cemetery. The deceased leaves a husband and two little girls, also two brothers, residents of this city. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
