Richardson 14 August 1890 - 18 June 1944 Texas Wagoner 133rd Field Artillery 36th Division The Denison Press Friday, June 23, 1944 pg. 21 DEATH ROLL Funeral services for Tullie O. Richardson, a resident of Denison all his life, were conducted Monday at the Short-Murray chapel with Rev. John R. Stevens officiating. Interment was at Oakwood Cemetery. Mr. Richardson died Sunday at 12:15 a.m. Mr. Richardson was born in Denison August 14, 1890, was educated in the public schools here. He entered service with the Katy freight department as a weight master. When he left the Katy, he became associated with the Waples-Platter Grocer Co. five years before going into the grocery business for himself. A veteran of the first World War, Mr. Richardson enlisted in the Army July 23, 1917, and received an honorable discharge April 2, 1919. He served as wagoner of Battery E, 133rd Field Artillery. For the past six years he has been with the Abe Ross Truck lines as checker. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was married December 26, 1921 to Miss Myrtle Walker in Denison. Survivors are his widow; two brothers, T.O. Richardson of Denison and John Richardson of Los Angeles, California; three sisters, Mrs. A.E. Dickson and Miss Effie Richardson, both of Denison and Mrs. A.C. Crisswell of Ardmore, Oklahoma OAKWOOD CEMETERY
