February 11, 1889 Denison, Tex., Feb. 10. - Mrs. Clark Kelley, the lady who was so badly burned a few days since in East Denison, died last evening at 8 o'clock. Her remains were buried this afternoon in Oakwood Cemetery. The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, March 3, 1889 pg.3 CLARK KELLY DEAD Clark Kelly, whose serious illness with typhoid fever, was mentioned 2 weeks ago in the Gazetteer, died at his home in southeast Denison Sunday morning. It is only a few weeks since Mrs. Kelly, through having her clothes take fire, was so badly burned, that she died in a few days afterwards, and now, with the death of the husband, the breaking up of this family becomes complete. The deceased leaves 2 small children whose condition in thus being robbed of both parents at a tender age, is pitiable indeed. The funeral took place from the late residence of the family Monday afternoon. Dallas Morning News March 26, 1889 Denison Tex., Feb. 24. - Mr. Clark Kelly, the husband of the lady who was burned to death a few days since, died this evening, at 1:10 o'clock, at his home, of pneumonia. A few days after Mrs. Kelly's death their baby died, and now the family is completely blotted out. They have no relatives in Denison. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
