EDITH CARR DIES FOLLOWING 7 WEEKS ILLNESS Mr. Edith Elen Carr, 31, 1 resident of Denison nearly all her life, died at 10:20 p.m. Tuesday at her home, 1100 West Main following an illness of 7 week.s Funeral services were held at the Short-Murray chapel, Rev. J.F. Murrell officiating. Interment was at Oakwood cemetery with Short-Murray directing. Mrs. Carr was born in Oklahoma as the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Harvey September 28, 1906 and moved with her parents to Denison as an infant. She is a member of the Baptist church. She married J.E. Carr, a carpenter, in 1916. Surviving are her husband; mother, Mrs. Maud Harvey; one son, Jackie and one daughter, Frances, all of Denison; three brothers, Frank Harvey and Carl Harvey, both of California; and J.C. Weldon of Texas; and two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Hukill of Shafter, California and Mrs. Lena Brown of Ft. Worth. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
