 Denison  The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, January 15, 1888 pg. 3 GEORGE WERNEBURG DEAD Mr. George Werneburg of the merchant tailoring business of Werneburg & Son, died at his home in this city Thursday morning, aged 63 years. The death of his son by accidental poisoning at Dallas a couple of months ago gave the old gemtleman a shock from which he never fully recovered, and he died of nervous prostration, induced to a large extent from this cause. The funeral took place Friday morning at 10 o'clock from the Baptist Church; interment being made at Oakwood Cemetery. The deceased leaves a wife and married daughter to mourn him.  OAKWOOD CEMETERY
