Miss Johnnie Marie Stinson, 21 years old, daughter of Mrs. Mary
Stinson, 312 East Munson Street, died Sunday morning early at Abilene
after two months of illness. She had been at Abilene seven years. Miss Stinson was born in Denison, March 4, 1915, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Stinson. She attended the public schools and St. Xavier's Academy here before going to Abilene in 1929. she was a member of the Catholic Church. Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Mary Stinson; a brother Aaron Stinson, Denison; two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude McGonigle, Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Flossie Stinson, Denison, and her grandmother, Mrs. Dora Stinson, Denison. The body reached Denison Monday morning at 11:10 o'clock and was removed to the family home 312 East Munson Street, where funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock with Rev. B. J. Deeney, pastor of St. Patrick's Catholic Church officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery with Short-Murray funeral directors in charge.
