Denison The Denison Press Wednesday, April 29, 1942 pg. 1 FUNERAL SERVICES FOR WRECK VICTIM SCHEDULED THURSDAY All efforts to locate relatives of Alva S. Richardson, 77-year-old transient instantly killed on Hwy. 75 two miles north of Denison in an automobile accident April 17, have proven fruitless by police and the Short-Muray funeral home and funeral services, minus mourners, will be conducted Thursday. Rev. James E. Spivey, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officate at the service to be held at Short-Murray chapel Thursday morning at 9 o'clock. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Short-Murray directing. Mrs. Amanda Richardson of St. Paul, Minnesota, who last week wired Justice E.A. Wright concerning the personal effects of the man, believed to be her husband, and a diamond ring in particular, has since decided the transient was not her missing spouse. Identity of Richardson was established by the Federal Bureau of Investigation at Washington through fingerprints sent in by local police. Richardson is believed to be a native of Waupon, Wisconsin and the FBI indicated he was born June 8, 1864. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
