Denison The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, November 6, 1904 DIED Sunday, October 30, 1904, at 7:30 p.m., Mrs. Susan E. Bunn, wife of R.H. Bunn, aged 55 years. And so passes awya another who was one of the very first to cast her lot here over 30 years ago. Mrs. Bunn had been sick for quite a long period. We can recollect her in early days as the personification of good health, a very active and energetic woman. The death of Mrs. Bunn is a sad blow to her devoted husband and many friends. There never was a better or more loveable wife than the deceased. She was very devoted to her children. There never was a situation in which she did not prove a helpmate to her husband. She was always a very hard working woman, notwithstanding she was always surrounded with the comforts of a good home. While her children and friends will miss her much, the greatest loss is to her husband. Mrs. Bunn leaves a son, Ike Bunn, who resides in west Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Daniels, of Muskogee, I.T., and Mrs. Taylor, of Longview, Texas; and an adopted daughter, Miss Vashi Bunn. She also leaves a mother, Mrs. Crabtree and a sister, Mrs. Bolder, who reside west of town; and a brother, Jerry Strait, of this city. The deceased was laid to rest at Oakwood with appropriate religious services. A large number of people paid their last respects. OAKWOOD CEMETERY
